It is quite unfortunate that the COVID-19 pandemic is still here, most of our lives has taken quite the turn as a result.
It’s been the hardest for those who love to travel and get creativity through tourism or visiting different places, however, there are always alternate activities you can try out.
So, today we have a list of alternate activities you could try to keep you busy and inspired to create magic.
List of Alternate Activities For Keeping Busy
1. Yoga and Meditation:
Yoga is becoming quite popular among young people in Nigeria and it has proven to be a very calm way to relax, ease off some stress and get flexible.
And we all know, we are at our best when relaxed.
2. A Day At The Beach:
Tada! Not a lot of people know that beaches are now opened, so go along with your mask and sanitiser, deep your feet into the sand and just breathe
3. Board Games:
Being in competitive spirits drives us to think swiftly and I most especially
love getting challenged.
4. Learn A New Language:
I started taking Spanish in the beginning of the year but derailed a bit, this has been the best time for me to learn that. I recommend downloading
Duolingo, it is easy and fun to use.
5. Boat Cruise:
Get your closest buddies, get on a boat and zoom away, but remember to stay safe.
6. Play Dress Up:
What other way is there to feel better, than dressing up? Put on your favourite outfit and just watch your moods brighten up.
7. Girls Night:
It’s just you and the girls now, unwind, laugh, gossip and chill. Guess what, you could make it a themed night eg, pink nighties, bonnet night, just whatever is fun for
you and your girls.
8. Buy A New Wig:
Maybe this isn’t for everyone, but having a new wig makes me feel 10 times better than I ever was feeling-especially if it is a good wig. I suggest, going for something you normally wouldn’t, maybe a different colour or length.
9. Have A Shoot:
Any of these activities could be a special day or night to have a photo shoot or maybe even a video shoot. Talk about content…
10. Start A YouTube Chanel:
This!! I started this and it has been one way I have managed to stay sane.
Need to tap into your creativity or still struggling on how to create content and
put it out? YouTube is your friend, start that channel sis.
11. Learn Aesthetics:
Maybe I’m late to the trend, but have you seen everyone’s profile on Instagram recently? There is a certain theme going on and it is called having an aesthetic.
