Everyone loves that brand new feel, whether it’s a car, clothes or shoes; we all want the shine and sparkles that new things give us. But, do you know that you can keep your old shoes looking new with these fashion hacks.
1. Gum Problem
If you had the misfortune of stepping on a piece of chewing gum, don’t scratch it, place a piece of ice directly on the gum. It’ll make the gum harder so you’ll be able to take it off.
2. Packing Your Shoes
If you need to pack up fast and you don’t have enough time to clean your shoe, simply place them in a shower cap. It’ll keep your shoes packed nice and tight.
3. Sweaty Feet
Sweaty feet can be a problem during the hot season, prevent your feet from sweating and smelling bad afterward by putting panty liners in your shoe.
4. Keeping Leather Shiny
To keep your leather shoes looking shiny and new, simply use a banana peel. Rub the peel onto the leather and wipe the leftover with a tissue.
5. Candle Wax Care
Want your fabric shoe to be waterproof?? Take some wax or paraffin candle and rub it on the shoes – it will prevent any water from going through the fabric.
6. Ill Fitted Shoes
Are those shoes you purchased too tight? Pour a cup of water in a ziplock bag, place it in the shoe and put the shoes in the freezer – the water will turn into ice and push the sides of the shoe apart. Leave them there overnight and they’ll be ready to wear in the morning.
Leather shoes have a tendency to develop water stains. They’re a pain to remove, but a vinegar and toothbrush duo is all you need to keep these ugly stains away.
