Nigerian Artists, Wizkid and Rema have been nominated for the “Best International Act” as well as the “Best African Music Act” with eight other Nigerian Artists at the 2021 MOBO Awards.
”The MOBO Awards is an annual British music award presentation dedicated to highlighting “Music of black origin” in categories of Hip-Hop, R&B, Soul, Grime, Jazz, Reggae, Gospel and generality of African Music. The nominees list was revealed on Thursday, the 11th of November 2021 and the award show holds on Sunday, December 5, 2021, at Coventry CBS Arena, United Kingdom.
The Nigerian Music stars were nominated alongside American artists–Lil Nas X, Drake, Kanye West, Doja cat, Megan thee Stallion and Polo G for the “Best International Act”.
Other Nigerians nominated nominated for the ‘Best African Music act’ include Burna Boy, Tems, Ckay, Tiwa Savage, Davido, NSG, King Promise and newbie-Ayra Starr.
