Remember Hakeem? He was Cookie and Lucious Lyon‘s youngest son in the popular tv series, Empire. His actual name is Bryshere Gray and he was arrested in Arizona last weekend, on counts of Domestic violence.
This came after a 911 call was placed by his wife, who alleged that he beat her and strangled her to the point of near unconsciousness.
It was even reported that she had many visible injuries on her body. This report was made through the Facebook account of Goodyear Police. Check the post here.
On Monday (July 13) the Goodyear Police Department — based out of Goodyear, Arizona — reported that 26-year-old Bryshere Gray had been arrested on Sunday night.

The department received the 911 call, wherein the caller said she was the actor’s wife and had been assaulted by her husband at their home in Goodyear, around 10:15 p.m.
He was booked into Maricopa County Jail after attempts were made to contact him by the Goodyear police without his response.
Bryshere Gray’s team has not made any announcement or reached out to any media so far.
