The 16th Global ELOY Conference and Awards with an International Trade and Empowerment Mission, held from the 25th to the 29th of November 2024 was a resounding success, bringing together women from various industries and backgrounds to celebrate excellence and empowerment.
This year’s event was also supported by the Bank of Industry.

The 16th Global ELOYs started on day 1 with the International Trade and Empowerment mission which focused on access to funding for women led organisations. This conversation was chaired by Dr Tewa Onasanya, Founder of the ELOY Awards Foundation, Tayo Afolabi, Chief Strategist World PR Media Limited and Olawunmi Olatunji CEO Brockville Investments. Day 2 focused on Women in Policy, Governance, Sustainability and Entrepreneurship. The keynote address on day 2 was given by Otunba Bimbo Ashiru, Group Chairman of Odu’a Investment Company Limited, The Hon Commissioner for lagos State Ministry of Commerce, Cooperatives, Trade and Investment was represented by Mrs Hauwa Adeeyo, Special Adviser to the Lagos State Governor Commerce, Titi Oshodi of the Office on Climate Change and Circular Economy was represented by Ayodele Fajemibola, Head Program Coordination unit, Ministry of Economic Planning and Budget spoke on sustainability. The private sector was represented by Dr. Adeola Ogunyemi, Head Consumer Banking and Lagos Directorate, Eco Bank Nigeria Limited. The program was chaired by Dr Tewa Onasanya and Tokunbo Chiedu of Compass Global Consulting Limited. Day 3 was spent at TVC studios where the focus was on Media and Business.
The 16th Global ELOY Conference featured a range of inspiring speakers who include Moji Hunponu Wusu, Founder Woodhall Capital, Dr. Tewa Onasanya, Founder ELOY Awards Foundation, Maureen Ogbonna, Vallore Limited, Dr. Abiola Salami a Performance Strategist, Dr Ayodeji Ebo of Optimus by Afrinvest, Ochanya Dan Ugo of Unified Payments. Panellists included Tayo Afolabi of World PR Media Limited, Efe Usin of Women in Export and Trade Investment, Isimeme Whyte of the Genius Hub, Tale Alimi of Rouzo, Caroline Moore of Ideas Market Place, Hajiya Ijioma a Business Analyst and Grace Ofure of Lifecard Limited, and networking opportunities, all focused on empowering women to achieve their goals and pursue their passions.
The final day of the 16th Global ELOYs ended with an awards ceremony on the 29th of November where women of excellence in different fields were celebrated.
