TELL US ABOUT YOURSELF AND YOUR BRAND
My name is Hannah Edem Bassey. I’m the founder and creative director of LUXEBYHANNAH. I’m a graduate of Law from the University of Calabar. I’m from Cross River State.
Luxebyhannah is a luxurious brand that makes clothes for women that are chic, elegant and ambitious. We aim not to make just clothes but outfits that make you feel like the prettiest lady in the room.
We use the highest quality of feel-good fabrics and craft our pieces with a keen eye for detail, with clothes that remind you of memories.
HOW AND WHEN DID YOUR JOURNEY BEGIN?
My interest in fashion developed when I was a young girl, I have been fascinated with styles and how they can transform and complement a woman’s confidence.
I moved to Lagos, in January 2022 and registered at Aisy fashion school for 3 months, I had no idea about sewing but the 3 months were one of the best decisions of my career as a fashion designer. I started my business in September 2022 and the rest is history. I’m inspired by creativity which reflects my brand, and our vision to become a household name in the Nigerian fashion scene within the next few years.

I won’t say worst moments but the brand has had some challenges that we always strive to overcome and improve on them. These situations are sharpeners which steer the brand towards excellence.
ON A SCALE OF 1-10, WHAT HAS BEEN YOUR RESPONSE TO CUSTOMER SATISFACTION?
I would grade our customer satisfaction 8+, as most of our clients always return to patronize the brand.

The fashion industry is rife with competition, so in other to stay relevant we ensure our pieces stand out very well, every stitch is made with excellence, and we provide affordable luxury. Our clients are always flooded with unending compliments.
