What does your business do and how did you start?

StilebyB is a fashion and lifestyle brand that specializes in enhancing the appearance of ladies and gentlemen with a touch of originality, luxury, style, and comfort.

StilebyB is a growing handmade footwear brand made with love and our clients in mind.

Each pair is a gorgeous synthesis of comfort, style, and luxury that is still cost-effective and it all started from one idea that dropped in my head and this was after the covid pandemic in 2020. Then it resulted in research and sourcing for cobblers to work with. It has been an amazing journey so far.

How do you solve your customers’ challenges?

It only takes one bad experience for the customer to swear off your business forever and trust me to have experienced all sorts of customers over the years but it’s my main priority that my customers are fully satisfied and here is what we have put into practice over the years

  • We try not to be defensive but listen attentively to their challenges
  • Try to get more information then apologize without blaming
  • We then proceed to ask what a good solution would be for them and how we can serve them much better

Can you describe/outline your typical day?

A typical day for me begins with my prayers, and house chores then I set the goals for the day. I am not a fan of breakfast so I just proceed to begin my day. I Respond to messages and emails, return phone calls, place orders, deal with customer questions, feedback or complaints, and maintain careful business records. On some days I have deliveries to make.

What is your favourite aspect of being an entrepreneur?

To be honest, they are so many but the ability to sell my products at any given opportunity,

work freely, solve problems and being able to make a difference in the process. Also being able to effect change in people’s thoughts and actions. I am learning every day, so I pick my team and set the rules.

Who are your ideal customers?

Our target audience are humans from all walks of life between the age of 14-80 who love luxury, style and comfort.

What advice would you give to people who want to become entrepreneurs?

  1. Pray, and place God above everything.
  2. Keep learning and never be too relaxed. The fashion world is advancing every day, stay afloat by learning new techniques, putting your brand out through any marketing method you know and keep upgrading your skills.
  3. Network with great minds and be open to constructive criticism. Never feel too big and act like you know it all.
  4. Carve a grand niche for your brand and let your business stand out for a particular design/aspect in which you’re very good at.
  1. Build your personality and not to the barest minimum.
