27 year old Sal Lavallo has already accomplished some of the travel goals that even seasoned explorers only dream of.
He is one of the youngest people in the world to have traveled to every country, including destinations like Syria and North Korea. He is a self-described life-long traveler. With his wealth of travel experience, he dished out travel strategies that can be used for all types of travel.
1. Try an unexpected place.
Lavallo said some of his best memories traveling came from unexpected places. He says that sometimes the places you don’t think about are the ones that are the most exciting.
2. Be strategic with your time off.
You don’t really have to go far, or go to an extremely fancy place. You can be flexible, do a short budget or close-by trip.
