Nigerian singer/songwriter Damini Ebunoluwa Ogulu popularly known as Burna Boy who won “Best International Act” at the BET awards earlier in the year has been nominated for another prestigious award.
Burna boy has been nominated for a Grammy award in the “Best World Music Album” category.
Damini Ogulu who came to the spotlight in 2012 with his hit single “Like to Party” is signed to Bad Habit/Atlantic Records in the United States and Warner Music Group internationally.
Burna refers to his genre of music as “Afro-fusion”. He currently has 4 Albums, with the 4th titled “African Giant” released in July 2019, which is the Album that has been nominated for the Grammy awards.
The African Giant Album has been nominated along side Albums from other artists around the world.
