The second day of the Heineken Lagos Fashion week kicked off with an amazing ambiance, beautiful street styles, high fashion, upbeat music, exhibition stands, and of course an awesome runway show.
Here are some highlights from the fashion show:
Orange Culture
This collection featured shades of green, blue, pink, warm colors; yellow, cream, brown, red and orange. The outfits comprised of fishnets, transparent fabrics, silk scarves, etc. The models spotted mini bags and purses with shoulder straps, boots/sneakers, and extravagant hats adorned with feathers.
ILI Nigeria
The collection consisted largely of Adire fabrics. The male models wore tops, trousers, shorts, and suits made from Adire and cotton fabrics, and they paired this with sneakers on their feet, and often times with backpacks/travel bags. The female models were also dressed in shorts, shirt dresses, tops and blazers made with Adire and cotton fabrics. They often carried mini bags, matched with sandal/block heels. Big brother season 4 housemate IKE modeled for ILI Nigeria and walked out with the designer to take a bow at the end.
Rick Dusi
This designer showcased male pantsuits, sweaters, sweatshirts, overalls, long coats, transparent carrier bags, shoes, and mules. This collection was made from velvet and fabrics with luster, flower pattern and flower embroidery. The shoes on display also had embroidery and tassels on them. 
Yutee Rone
Multi-Media personality Toke Makinwa opened the show wearing gold and brown luster cowl neck dress. The predominant colors of this collection were maroon and Gold. The designs unveiled were cocktail/evening dresses, jumpsuits, wide-leg pants, etc. This includes short dresses with draping on the side, corset dresses with embroidery, tops/dresses/pants with ruffles, and gold/silver heels.
Jermaine Bleu
An array of bright-colored outfits came from this collection, with a few neutral colors and some Ankara pieces. The designs on display for men and women included jackets, shorts, female sparkly net dresses, female tops with slits on the sides, female pencil pants, long coats, and female short dresses. Flat slippers, sneakers and block heels were paired with the outfits.
