For the first time in history, The Beauty Reports is joining forces with the Beauty Therapy Institute to collaborate on a campaign to further highlight how the beauty industry in Nigeria has grown with a showcase that not only profiles the dynamic services of the institute in a two day event but also encourages careers in the industry through scholarships.
Since inception, The Beauty Reports has been known for profiling key trends and stakeholders in the Beauty Industry, a World PR Media Beauty Division initiative alongside other World PR Media projects like Luxury Beauty Brunch and the recently concluded Mercedes Benz World PR Beauty Business Week.
On the other end of the collaboration is the 21 year old Beauty Therapy Institute (BTI) with over 10 campuses worldwide who are reputed to offer the highest standards in education and training in the health, beauty and skincare industry, offering international certification for its learners in the acquisition of knowledge and skills. Their highly qualified international educators offer Beauty therapy courses such as Anatomy and physiology, Manual and electrical facials, waxing, manicure and pedicure, makeup, nutrition and body assessment, nail technology, cosmetic science, microblading, and many more. Their unique model of operation allows learners to start at any time of the year and post learning support is offered through preferential interviews of all graduands of the combination courses by top spas and resorts, locally and internationally.
The two day event is scheduled to hold on the 16th and 18th of November 2017. Day one focuses on the seminars touching on; the needs for standards in the industry, having an international overview of the beauty career, the right way to make and sell skincare (touching on cream mixing and the chemistry) and anatomy and physiology as the foundation of beauty therapy. With special speakers and renowned beauty industry experts, the day is set to change one’s view of the beauty industry in Nigeria. On the second day, the focus is on two things, profiling the subject matter of the “anti-aging” market in a special Tea Party and a dinner to round up all the interesting activities.
