It is a cycle of mistakes we make, which at certain points may have a grievous implication either to us or someone we know or have heard about. It is always important to take certain precaution while taking some risks, five of which is common are highlighted below:
1) Use of phones while charging – many times we hear of cases where an outbreak occurred due to the use of phones while charging it. Sometimes it could be as a result of an emergency or laziness that people opt for or to maintain battery level but we should always try as much to limit or avoid it to prevent any un-expected accident.
2) Fuel Abuse- it is a noticeable fact few people if not many are guilty of. When refuelling your generator or filling your car tank, you MUST always turn off the engine. It is hazardous and due to its highly inflaming factor, risks like that should not be taken for granted. It should be our responsibility to try and discourage people who do this, to avoid medical consequences which may also affect the physical, resulting from fire burns or explosions.
3) Public Talking- in this context it means being cautious of the kind of conversations we have in public, either face to face or on the phone. Many times people just chat away carelessly not considering who the person next to you is. I was stuck in traffic some time ago and I heard a woman speaking on the phone in the comfort of the back seat of her jeep talking so loudly about a recent transaction she did for a container to be cleared. Even if the money cannot be claimed, the goods in the container will definitely be worth a lot. What if she was tracked and harassed or robbed. In all cases caution should be taken with the kind of conversations made in public
4) Passwords- these are delicate codes to be secretly kept. Information as delicate should be kept in places you or any other person(s) you want aware of it should know. In cases where the passwords are written openly, it should still have some codes to avoid a 3rd party from predicting it to avoid information being hacked or leaked either for your ATM cards, documents, safes and buildings.
