Ijakumo (The Born-Again Stripper)
FilmOne and Toyin Abraham Films Productions have released the official trailer for “Ijakumo: The Born Again Stripper.”
Ashabi, the daughter of a powerful spiritualist, is hell-bent on destroying the life of her former lover, Jide, a renowned pastor of a mega-church, who jilted and left her to die. With the help of Sharon, a stripper and choir leader who Jide lusts after, Ashabi figures out a way to achieve her revenge plan.
The film which is set to premiere in cinemas on December 23, 2022, stars Toyin Abraham Ajeyemi, Kunle Remi, Bimbo Akintola, Lilian Afegabi, Eso Dike, Tomiwa Tegbe, Kola Ajeyemi, Antar Laniyan, Okusanya Lolade, and directed by Adebayo Tijani.

Ch3mistry
Top YouTuber and filmmaker, Adenike ‘Olori Esho’ Adebayo’s ‘Ch3mistry’ is set to hit theatres soon.
Written by Chidinma Igbokweuche and Joshua Olanrewaju, the film follows a newly wed couple looking forward to having sex for the first time.
However, things don’t go as planned as different issues/problems keep arising. Would they get their happily ever after?
Co-produced by Feyifunmi Oginni, the romantic drama features Daniel Ettim Effiong, Ebenezer Eno, Bolaji Ogunmola, Michael Ejoor, Biodun Stephen, Rehia Oronsaye and Jayonair.
The new production comes four years after Adebayo premiered 360 With Abbey, a romantic drama web series which premiered on YouTube. The series ended after two seasons.

FAR FROM HOME
Netflix has released the official trailer for its new young adult series ‘Far From Home’ ahead of its release.
the protagonist Ishaya, who is focused on achieving his dreams no matter, learns that ambition come with a price.
Created by Chinaza Onuzo and Dami Elebe, with the latter serving as head writer, the five-episode series follows protagonist Ishaya, whose dreams take him to the glitzy prestigious A level school Wilmer Academy. Here, he is faced with danger, deception, the trappings of wealth and social hierarchy dynamics while battling with a huge secret that threatens his newfound status and his family’s safety.
The highly anticipated series features an eclectic mix of Nollywood’s formidable talents the likes of Richard Mofe-Damijo (RMD), Bimbo Akintola and Carol King alongside rising stars Mike Afolarin, Genoveva Umeh and Natse Jemide.
‘Far From Home’ premieres globally and exclusively on Netflix from December 16, 2022.
