The ELOY Awards Foundation is set to host the 18th Global ELOY Conference 2026 on 27 November 2026, bringing together women leaders, entrepreneurs, creatives, professionals, policymakers, corporate organisations, media platforms, investors and development partners for a timely conversation on the power of visibility.
With the theme, “The Power of Being Seen: Visibility as a Global Tool for Women’s Empowerment,” the 18th Global ELOY Conference will examine a challenge that continues to affect women across Africa and beyond: despite being educated, skilled, innovative and capable, many women remain underrepresented, undervalued and excluded from the opportunities that could expand their influence and impact.
The conference is built around a simple but significant truth:empowerment that is not visible cannot be sustained.
The conference will explore visibility not simply as personal recognition, but as a strategic tool for women’s empowerment with economic, cultural, psychological and global implications.
The 18th Global ELOY Conference also forms part of a wider ELOY 2026 conversation around visibility, leading into the 18th Global ELOY Awards. While the conference creates a platform to examine the role of visibility in advancing women’s empowerment, the awards will celebrate women who have put that principle into action through their work, leadership, voices and impact.
In line with this year’s theme, visibility-centred award categories have been introduced for the 18th Global ELOY Awards, recognising women who have chosen to show up, own their voices, take their place and make an impact.
