Nigerian songstress, Temilade Openiyi, popularly known as Tems arrived at the 2023 Oscars in a stunning white dress.
Tems was nominated for the 2023 edition of the Oscars in the category of Best Original Song courtesy of a collaboration she had on the song, “Lift Me Up” with popular singer, Rihanna; music producer, Ludwig Göransson; and Black Panther’s director, Ryan Coogler.
The award ceremony is taking place at the Dolby Theatre, Ovation Hollywood in Los Angeles, US.
Tems Oscar dress was as stunning as it was dramatic. The white gown had an extravagant flair to it which the singer carried with elegance.
A lot of people believe Tems’ tall white dress wasn’t the best choice for the glitzy Hollywood ceremony and they have been quick to share their opinion on the internet.
People believed it was less practical for those sitting behind her once inside the Dolby Theatre. This is because of the design of the dress which extended horizontally inevitably obstructing anyone’s view close to it.
