TECNO, a global leading premium smartphone brand, has announced Tiwa Savage as its latest brand ambassador.
TECNO made the announcement Tuesday via its Twitter page: “Queen of Afrobeats! Mama Africa! Multitalented singer! Superstar extraordinaire and TECNO Ambassador, #TECNOxTiwaSavage Happy to have you @Tiwasavage as part of the family. #TECNOAmbassador #CAMON19.”
Last week, the smartphone brand teased its followers about a new member joining the TECNO family with the initials “Double T” on its social media pages and names like Tems, Ayra Starr were mentioned as everyone jumped on the hint and started guessing up who the new ambassador might be.
Confirming the news, the 42-year-old singer also broke the news to her fans across all her social media pages. “This one is highly approved by the No1ABG, Your girl is on board with one of the coolest brands ever – TECNO! Head over to @tecnomobileng and show some love to my newest family. I am sooooo excited #TECNOxTiwaSavage #TECNOAmbassador,” Tiwa wrote on Twitter.
TECNO has had many ambassadors in the past, from reality TV stars to international A-list celebrities, but adding Tiwa Savage to the list makes it the first time the smartphone brand will have a female ambassador. Such a marquee move has the potential to be a game-changer for both TECNO and Tiwa Savage, as they clearly both have aligned beliefs and are built to challenge the norm with their ideas and innovations.
This announcement comes not long after the TECNO Camon 19 series launched on the 14th of June 2022 at the Rockefeller Center in New York City. TECNO and Tiwa Savage are certainly set to scale new heights together.
