‘OSAwumikani’ (strength of a woman), as stated by its overview, is a psychological drama that follows a young woman who is a victim of sexual harassment and how her life changes as a result while expounding on the power of therapy.

The short film which is directed by Olabode Izy, features Etta JoMaria as Nnator Takim, Imoh Eboh as Tinuola Coker, Efe Henry as Yemi alongside Susan Ibanga, Frank Ugwuoke, Ife Salako, Promise Agbor, Jay Osas Odin and Enun Ojong.

According to its director statement, “Osa is a beautiful project that emphasizes the harassment women go through and its effect. It is cinematically filmed with the goal to show emotions and feel scenes artistically with beautiful performances and delivery from the cast, a trigger and strength to women in our society at large.”

While an official release date is yet to be confirmed, the short film was recently unveiled as one of this year’s official selections for the Viana CineFest in Spain. The international festival premiere will kickstart the film’s festival run.
