Season 2 of the drama series ‘The Smart Money Woman’ is officially in the works, as principal photography has been confirmed to be in progress.
The screenplay, written by Pearl Osibu and Jola Ayeye, is based on Arese Ugwu’s bestselling novel’s plot, which follows five friends on their journey to financial independence.
Each episode addresses debt, black tax, spending, money misunderstandings, love, friendships, cultural and societal pressures, and so on.
Osas Ighadoro played Zuri in the first season of the Smart Money Woman, with Toni Tones, Ini Dima-Okojie, Ebenezer Eno, Timini Egbuson, Seun Ajayi, Temisan ‘Taymesan’ Emmanuel, Nonso Bassey, and Akindoju in supporting roles.
No information has been disclosed about season 2 so far, and fans are left to speculate what it may or may not unfold in the drama series.
