Following Prince Harry and Meghan’s royal “exit” from royalty, the queen has stepped in. She held a meeting today at Sandringham with prince harry and other members of the royal family.
The queen is looking to control the situation by summoning Prince Charles, Prince Williams, and Prince Harry, to find common ground.
This is because Harry and Meghan did not consult the monarch or their family before announcing their decision to step back as senior royals. Harry and Meghan’s royal “exit” came as a shock to everyone but most especially to their families.
Discussions arising from this meeting will range from “proposals drawn up after a series of consultations between palace officials and representatives of the UK and Canadian governments about how Meghan and Harry can achieve their aim of carving out new “progressive” roles as hybrid royals”- The Guardian
Meghan, who is currently in Canada, having just signed a deal with Disney, is expected to join the meeting via conference call.
