Chanel makes a major comeback for fall with its latest Métiers D’art Show at Château de Chenonceau in France on December 3.
The show, described as perfectly marrying “luxury fashion and high art” by Teen Vogue, had only one guest (Kristen Stewart), as opposed to the previously intended 200 guest list show that had been planned.

This destination show, being the first runway outside Paris for the creative director, Virginie Viard paid tribute to women who once lived in the castle.
In a press release, Viard said
“Showing at the Château de Chenonceau, at the “Château des Dames”, was an obvious choice. It was designed and lived in by women, including Diane de Poitiers and Catherine de’ Medici. It is a castle on a human scale. And Catherine de’ Medici’s emblem was a monogram composed of two intertwined Cs, just like that of Chanel,”
