American-Nigerian celebrity fashion stylist, KANAYO EBI whose clients include the likes of Angela and Vanessa Simmons launched its third and final instalment of year – THE KACH IT PROJECT, a series of pop-up events, in Lagos over the weekend, in association with Pop Up Africa.
Following two successful pop up launch events in London and New York this year, THE KACH IT PROJECT Lagos Edition featured a collective of fashion forward and groundbreaking designers and brands from ready to wear to haute couture clothing and accessories, inspired by African and contemporary influences, in an exclusive one day shopping and lifestyle experience in Victoria Island’s new and atmospheric venue, EMBER CREEK- LANDMARK TOWERS.
Participating brands included: 10 Bows Boutique (UK/Nigeria), Abebi By Tan (Nigeria), Amarelis (Nigeria), Baconery (Nigeria),Di’Ja (Nigeria), Designers Club Lagos, Dricky, Erilyn by Temitope, FIA, Kiki Kamanu, LRP Shades, AND WOEN ILGA (Benin) in additions to the event’s featuring designers AGO WATCH (UK/Nigeria), ANGELICA CURTIS (US), DEUCXE (US), EZIE (US), GREGRIANG (US), LA LUXE (US), MUEHLEDER (US), POP CAVEN (US), TAJE (Nigeria), THE ANONYMOUS VINTAGE (Nigeria) and WINNER CLOTHING (US); plus live customized art by CHERMIA AMOUR, an African dance class by AFROBEATS DANCE NYC and food and drink by FULL OF GOODNESS UK, MY SWEET JUSTICE OF HARLEM and YUMMY TUMMY’S.
Attendees also enjoyed an exclusive two-hour panel discussion and brunch exploring the road to success with celebrity stylists KANAYO EBI and MISA HYLTON, singer and actress ESTELLE, author and entrepreneur JAI HUDSON, former Miss Teen USA/beauty blogger KAMIE CRAWFORD, fashion designer LARISSA MUEHLEDER, artistCHERMIA LUCAS and celebrity photographer NOEMAD, in an intimate conference titled KACH YOUR DREAM. Also in attendance was Angela Simmons.
