The 92nd Academy Awards ceremony held on Sunday the 9th of February 2020, took place at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood, Los Angeles, California. The OSCARS presented by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences honored the best films, filmmakers, and actors/actresses of 2019. There was also an array of breathtaking looks from the Oscars, as the stars dressed to the nines.

The 2019 adapted screenplay “Joker” led the pack with 11 oscar nominations but only ended up with two wins. A win for Joaquin Phoenix as best actor, and Best original score by Hildur Guðnadóttir. The biggest surprise of the night was the movie PARASITE. The 2019 South Korean movie walked away with a number of major awards, including Best Picture, Best Screenplay, Best International Feature Film, and Best Director.
Brad Pitt won his first academy award for acting, for his role in the movie Once Upon a Time in Hollywood. Eminem gave a surprise performance and Cynthia Erivo sent goosebumps down our spins with the amazing performance of the theme song for the movie Harriet, in which she played the lead role and received a nomination for.
