Inspired by “NSIBIDI”- a pre-colonial symbolic means of communication amongst the Ibos – Meena wows with her custom prints, embroidery and play on fabrics.
The symbols are arranged in clusters to tell a story of victory, resilience, love & hate. Details are influenced by strips to create a bound effect of unity & peace amidst the challenges & insurgencies we are faced with as a nation. Architenctonic undertones, true to her brand, are visible in origami details and sophisticated cuts.
