I am an advocate for dark colours but there’s something about navy that’s just so beautiful, not as dark as black but elegant enough to make a statement as powerful as the little black dress. It’s a lot more inviting than black; certainly a little less cold and intimidating. The little navy dress has become a statement in my closet, in all different styles.
For this look I was inspired by this knee-length navy dress with mesh detail. It’s simple yet elegant with a hint of sexy at the same time. I was mostly drawn by the back detail, the straps are so thin and delicate which creates a beautiful back detail and I’m all for a sexy back detail. I paired this look with rose gold accessories; I’ve been obsessing over earcuffs lately and simply couldn’t wait to wear this one. I kept the hair simple and the makeup soft and feminine.
