Asiyami Wekulom has quietly taken her label Asiyami Gold from a few pieces she used to knit at home to a burgeoning phenomenon gradually influencing African fashion worldwide. Her A.Au Summer Collection, released in July, features Ankara crop tops, spaghetti strap tops, Ankara shorts, blazers, jackets and a few Ankara trousers all handmade by the designer.
