American pop star singer Katy Perry has been rated as the highest paid performing female musician in the world for 2018, according to Forbes.
Although the 34-year-old musician racked in the most money for the year it was a pretty close call between herself and Taylor Swift, who claimed the second spot over the same period with a total of $80 million (R1.1 billion).
Taylor was then followed by music mogul and legend Beyoncé Knowles-Carter, who cashed in on $60 million (R839 million) during her OTR II tour with husband Jay Z.
