our models and agency for more awareness , as we know that NNTD is a
growing project which impacts the lives of people which are involved
such as fashion designers, fashion sketchers and more. We know it’s a
brand that needs to be associated with as we are keen to providing some
of the most professional models in the fashion industry for this
project.
Mahogany Model Management fondly known as Mahogany Models is Europe’s
largest modelling agency for models of colour which is based in the UK
and in Nigeria. Mahogany Models has been in existence for over 12 years
and has been in Nigeria for almost a year and has already made a
tremendous impact.

Our models have participated in top fashion shows, commercial,
editorial and look book shoots both in the UK, Europe, and Africa. Some
of the shows include Africa Fashion Week London & Nigeria, London
Fashion Week, Fashions Finest London, The Ladies Wardrobe Exhibition
Fashion Show, Music Meets Runway, Nigeria Student Fashion and Design
Week. Mahogany Models has worked wit some of the top designers as well
as with major commercial clients such as Jumia, Konga, Shugakane and
Guinness to name but a few

clients and models to ensure that we are always able to respond to our
clients’ needs.
At Mahogany we not only look for models that are beautiful and have the
potential to make it within the industry but we pay particular attention
to their character and personality as we feel these are very important
when deciding which models to take on to our books.
After months of registration for those that have taken the bold step to
register their desire to become Nigeria’s Next Top Designer, on the
2nd April we will be holding the auditions to select the 15 finalists
that will make it through to the finale of NNTD 2016.

ABOUT NIGERIA’S NEXT TOP DESIGNER
NNTD is a platform for young Nigerian designers between the ages of
18-30 to showcase their creativity to a wider audience, it will also
create unique opportunities and reputable platforms for Nigeria’s
undiscovered talent. NNTD is surely going to be the most sought after
competition for emerging designers.
It is an initiative that will help facilitate and manage young Nigerian
designers who wish to enter into the fashion industry, with the
intention of building talented entrepreneurs through fashion, it will
include mentoring and the winner gets to go home with a start up fund
and tools to assist them with potential for commercial growth.
NNTD is about establishing and encouraging the best emerging fashion
designers from Nigeria, promoting and showcasing them on a world stage
platform Africa Fashion Week Nigeria & London, as part of the winning
prize is an all expense paid trip to showcase their collection at the
6th edition of AFWL in September 2016, a Fashion Week that celebrates
the work of African and African inspired designers in the UK that has
become the single, biggest African fashion festival in the UK . The
annual event debuted in 2011 and has welcomed over 500 African
designers, created by Ronke Ademiluyi CEO.
