Tropical Islands, Mai Tai’s on the beach, palm trees, a gentle ocean breeze and the scent of salty water; those were my thoughts at first glance of Andrea Iyamah’s Spring/Break 2015 swimwear collection. Colorful, sporty and unpredictable are strong characteristics throughout the range. The mood reads BOLD and playful yet stylish enough for those who don’t necessarily plan to get their hair wet. However, the swimsuits themselves are almost too beautiful to get all wet, perhaps a game of beach volleyball instead?
Whether you’re the girl who is confident enough to rock a two-piece or the girl who is obsessed with the high-cut one-piece that the world went crazy about when Baywatch was still a thing. Either way, A.I. has got you covered. Whether you’re into solid colors (I’ll take it in black please) or if bold prints are what get you going, there’s definitely something that will tickle your fancy in this range.
What stands out the most, apart from the exotic colors and prints, is the variety in the tops. Being a woman, I can relate to the struggle of finding a swimsuit that is flattering on the chest. In my opinion, they’ve hit the nail right on the head in the boob department, so say goodbye to restricting bra-like bikini’s and hello to Spring Break.
