Asake has proving time and time again that he’s more than just a musical star. Asake is in his fashion era and he’s not calming down anytime soon.
The Terminator crooner directed his own style shoot, and took out time to review the best photos while also hosting a rap session with his team on the set of his latest interview with a Canada-based fashion retail company SSENSE.
The entire interview and shoot was hosted in a pastel-filled mansion with Elizabethan-style living rooms located in the suburban area of northwest London – a complete opposite of his upbeat, jivey and very African music.
Opening the feature, music and culture journalist, Nicolas-Tyrell Scott wrote;
“Asake doesn’t just want to look the part, he wants to authentically represent himself too”
This guy sure knows how to rock a look.
Not only is he killing it in the music game with his genre-blending jams, but he is also a walking fashion show.
From flared trousers to gloves, sunglasses and woven hairstyles, Asake is always serving up something fresh.
He’s a trendsetter and a trend-follower all rolled into one. And get this, he doesn’t even have a favorite designer! He loves them all.
No wonder they call him a “walking mood board”. Plus, his debut album “Mr Money With the Vibe” broke records and is the most successful Nigerian debut album of all time. Asake’s reaching for the stars and we’re here for the ride. Check out some of his looks below!
