JJC Skillz, movie producer and husband to the popular Nollywood actress Funke Akindele-Bello, has announced the end of his marriage to his wife.
According to multiple reports, the celebrity couple tried to keep up appearances of a ‘happy married life’ but could only pretend for so long.
It can recalled on June 19, Father’s day, Funke deliberately celebrated her husband JJC Skillz via her Instagram page to quench rumours flying about that they had split up, but now the cat’s out the bag.
JJC Skillz confirmed his split from Funke via his Instagram page on June 30: “Dear Friends and family I need to let you know that Funke and I have separated,” he wrote. Noting that “The last two years have been extremely difficult for us.”
According to JJC, despite his efforts to fix things, Funke hasn’t been cooperative, and now their marriage is now beyond repairs. JJC said he decided to announce their separation to let the public know they are already pursuing their indivdual lives.
