Perhaps it has been a long week for some of you or perhaps the week just flew by in the blink of an eye for the rest, but either way, it’s Friday and we made it through. There’s something so refreshing about Friday’s, it symbolises the end of a week, more so than Sunday’s. We began our fashion week with ‘Blue Monday’ so in the spirit of blue I decided to end it off with blue too, just a lot more fun.
This look was something special for me! I found that blue is such an easy colour to work with, it’s the one colour that goes so well with all its different shades. So to demonstrate that, I started off with this leather jacket in the mostly heavenly shade of blue. The colour is so rich and deeply saturated, I couldn’t resist! Therefore this was my main source of inspiration.
I paired the jacket with a slim fit white shirt that had the finest baby blue pinstripes in it. You can never go wrong with a crisp white shirt! The navy denim shorts balanced everything out and for a ‘pop’ of colour I added a little red heel. The nautical themed bag finished off the look perfectly. So this weekend I urge you to get into the spirit of blue, it’s light, refreshing and the most tranquil way to end off your week.
