I’ve been all over white lately, which is huge for me because black has been my ‘ride-or-die’ colour for as long as I can remember. Unless you’ve been out of tune with the world and every social media site, you will know that it has been on every runway and has made its way down to mainstream fashion. Although summer is coming to a sad end for those of us in Africa, we can rest assured that white will be following us all the way into winter.
As we enjoy the last few weeks of our glorious summer days, I figured that white would be the perfect way to celebrate. We’re getting to that point in summer where an evening chill is most likely to hit us but not to worry, I’ve got you covered.
This look was inspired by this lightweight vest dress that is so comfortable yet effortlessly chic at the same time. To break away from the white, I opted for gold accessories and for that evening summer chill that I mentioned earlier, nothing seemed more appropriate than this sporty gold jacket. It was certainly one of my favourite looks to style, I love the elements of sport and glamour all wrapped up in one.
