In celebration of International Women’s Day, Exquisite Magazine, powered
by ELOY awards foundation and Supported by Africa Women CEOs
Network, announces a call for nominations for its Power List, recognising
women and men across Africa and the Diaspora who are championing
gender inclusion and empowering women across various sectors.

This list celebrates leaders, advocates, innovators, and changemakers who
demonstrate a strong commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion through
their leadership, initiatives, mentorship, advocacy, and lasting impact in their
communities and industries.

CALL FOR NOMINATIONS: INTERNATIONAL WOMEN’S MONTH POWER LIST

We invite nominations of individuals who are inspiring positive change and
helping to build a more inclusive future for all. Criteria that will be used for
the selection process of a power list of people (Women and men in different
sectors including and not limited to the Private Sector, Government, CSO’s,
NGO’s etc) who advocate for and inspire gender inclusion in Africa and
Diaspora:

1. Demonstrated Commitment to Diversity and Inclusion: Individuals who
have a proven track record of championing diversity and inclusion in their
professional and/or personal endeavours.

2. Leadership and Advocacy: Leaders and advocates who actively promote
and advance gender equality, diversity, and inclusion within their
organisations, communities, or industries.

3. Impact and Influence: Individuals who have made a significant impact in
promoting inclusion and empowering women, either through their actions,
investments, initiatives, or advocacy efforts.

4. Innovation and Creativity: Innovators and trailblazers who have
introduced innovative solutions, programs, or initiatives to foster diversity,
equity, and inclusion in their respective fields.

5. Collaboration and Partnership: Individuals who collaborate with diverse
stakeholders and organisations to drive collective action and create inclusive
environments where everyone feels valued and respected.

6. Mentorship and Support: Individuals who mentor, support, and empower
women and helping them overcome barriers and achieve their full potential.

7. Public Engagement and Awareness: Individuals who use their platform,
influence, or resources to raise awareness about issues related to diversity,
equity, and inclusion and mobilise others to take action.

8. Advocacy for Policy Change: Advocates and influencers who actively
advocate for policy changes and reforms that promote gender equality,
diversity, and inclusion at the local, national, or international level.

9. Long-term Commitment: Individuals who have demonstrated a long-term
commitment to advancing inclusion and diversity, showing consistency and
dedication in their efforts over time.

10. Inspirational Leadership: Leaders who inspire others through their
actions, integrity, and vision, serving as role models for aspiring
changemakers and inspiring others to embrace inclusion and diversity.

By using these criteria, the ELOY Awards Foundation can identify and
recognise individuals who have made meaningful contributions to
promoting inclusion in all areas and inspiring positive change in their
communities and beyond.
