Are You One of the 600? Why Visibility Is No Longer Optional for Women in Business

There is a difference between being good at what you do and being known for what you do. For too many talented women, that difference is costing them opportunities, customers, partnerships, and the recognition they deserve.

I have spent over two decades building Exquisite Magazine and championing women through the ELOY Awards Foundation. One lesson has remained constant throughout my journey: “visibility is not vanity. It is positioning.”

You can have an excellent product, a brilliant business idea, or a service that genuinely transforms lives. But if the right people do not know you exist, how will they find you? How will they trust you? And how will the opportunities you desire find their way to you?

This is why we are inviting women entrepreneurs and business owners to become part of ELOY 600 in partnership with Sara by Wema and powered by Exquisite Magazine.

Our ambition is to bring women into a community where visibility, opportunity, and financial inclusion can work together to support their business journeys.

As a Mindset Stylist, I often remind women that the way we see ourselves influences how we show up in the world. You can not consistently position yourself for growth while hiding your gifts, undervaluing your expertise, or waiting for someone else to give you permission to be seen.

Visibility requires intention. It means putting your business forward, building relationships, embracing opportunities, and positioning yourself in the right communities. It also means taking practical steps that support your growth, including engaging with financial services that can help you manage and develop your business.

Through this initiative, we want to encourage more women to take that step towards being seen, recognised, and better positioned for opportunities.

And this is bigger than 600 registrations. It is about challenging the mindset that says you must wait until you are bigger, more established, or more confident before you put yourself out there.

You do not have to wait until you feel ready to become visible. You become visible by taking action.

As we look towards the 18th Global ELOY Conference and Awards, themed “The Power of Being Seen – Visibility as a Global Tool for Women’s Empowerment”, this message is especially important. Women deserve to occupy spaces where their voices, businesses, and contributions can be recognised.

So, I have one question for you: “Are you one of the 600?”

If you are a woman in business ready to take a practical step towards greater visibility and financial inclusion, this is your invitation.

Share it with another woman entrepreneur who deserves to be seen.

Let us build a community of women who are not just working hard behind the scenes but are also positioning themselves for the opportunities ahead.

Because your business deserves to be seen. Your work deserves to be recognised. And you deserve to be in the right place, in the right community, for the right opportunities.
