Nollywood actress and influencer Priscilla Ojo has finally addressed conversations surrounding the age difference between herself and her husband, Tanzanian singer Juma Jux, making it clear that it has never been a concern in their relationship.
Priscilla shared her thoughts during a recent interview with Pulse Nigeria after persistent online debates about their ages. The actress revealed that she is 24 years old, while Juma Jux is 35, but maintained that age has never defined how she views love or relationships.
According to her, genuine connection, mutual respect, and how partners treat each other matter far more than numerical age. She explained that when she first met Jux, she had no idea how old he was, adding that his youthful appearance, sense of style, and overall energy did not reflect his actual age.
As they spent more time together, Priscilla said her focus naturally shifted to their bond rather than any age difference. She noted that neither of them fits the typical expectations tied to their ages, describing herself as more mature than people assume, while Jux is relaxed, playful, and easygoing.
The actress added that they enjoy each other’s company as close friends, often having fun together, creating TikTok videos, and embracing their shared sense of humour.
Despite ongoing conversations on social media, Priscilla stressed that the age gap has never affected her or their relationship.
“Honestly, I feel like age is just a number—as long as it’s not extreme. What really matters is the heart,” she said.
“When I met him, I didn’t even know his age. He looked very young and dressed really well. I never saw the age like that.”
“I don’t act like I’m 24; he always says I’m very mature. And he doesn’t act like he’s 35 either. We make TikToks, have fun, and just enjoy being ourselves.”
