After the remarkable success of the ELOY Business Shower 2023, the ELOY Awards Foundation has initiated phase two in August 2023. During this phase, the foundation enrolled 50 women who own small businesses into the three-month ELOY Foundation Sustainable Empowerment Program (SEP).
During this three-month period, these small business owners will receive mentorship and gain access to valuable resources. They will be provided with information on affordable finance and entrepreneurial training from experienced business professionals who will mentor and equip them with tools and knowledge to foster successful business growth. Additionally, as part of the ELOY Foundation Sustainable Empowerment Program, 10 of these women will be considered for a grant to support their businesses.
The primary objective of the ELOY Foundation Sustainable Empowerment Program (SEP) is to provide these business owners with essential business skills, networking opportunities, and access to the ELOY Foundation Business Network, including access to affordable finance through FirstBank’s FirstGem 9% Loan Scheme, specifically designed for female-owned Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), as well as the SMEConnect Initiative.
