British actress Diana Rigg died of cancer in her home this morning at the age of 82.
The news was confirmed in a statement by her agent, Simon Beresford, according to PA Media.

“It is with tremendous sadness that we announce that Dame Diana Rigg died peacefully early this morning, She was at home with her family who have asked for privacy at this difficult time.”
Her daughter Rachael Stirling also confirmed the news, saying her mother died peacefully in her sleep after being diagnosed with cancer in March.
Riggs, who’s multi-decade long career saw her as a Bond’s girl, a secret agent in the 60s series “The Avengers”, Lady Olenna Tyrell in Game of Thrones, and earned her multiple awards, will be missed by many.
