Fashion runway season has begun in Nigeria and opening its curtains is Arise Fashion Week 2019, which was recently held on the 19-22nd of April. From the designs on stage to the guests that attended, there were a few trends that were hard to miss and we are here to bring you all the alert!
1. PATTERN: At the Arise Fashion Week 2019, we could see a lot of Patterns on stage. From Cultural pattern (nkwoofficial, Ituen Basi) to material pattern.
2. RUFFLES: From Style Temple to Tiffany Amber, we noticed that the Ruffle trend will be back shortly on the fashion street. Though in different designs and patterns, brace yourself!
3. COLOURS: There was a vast display of colours from the designers to the guests that attended. Let’s not also forget that 2019 also started with a colour-craze – Neon which is still ongoing.
4. FLUIDITY: Tiffany Amber depicted this in all her designs. Easy flow of movement in outfits is a trend to watch out for.
