Sadly, Naya Rivera’s Death Becomes The Third in Glee Cast History

For 90s kids, the tv show, Glee was one of our introductions to music, our favorite music
covers, relationships/friendships, a misfit group in high school and being proud of it.

Glee taught us a lot of things and showed us characters like Amber Riley, Lea Michele, Cory
Monteith and Naya Rivera.

Naya Rivera played a teenage cheerleader, with a beautiful voice, who was also discovering her sexuality.

Almost a week ago, Naya was reported missing after going boating with her 4-year-old son at Lake Peru. Search teams from agencies throughout the U.S had scoured the lake, for the days she went missing using helicopters, A.T.V.s, boats, drones, dogs and diving gear.

It has been reported that investigators on Monday found a body at the California lake where the actress Naya Rivera disappeared on Wednesday 8th July.

This is however not the first or even second time a glee cast member is passing away. Naya Rivera’s death is coming Seven years after her castmate, Cory Monteith’s death.

Monteith was 31 when he was found dead in a hotel room in Vancouver, British Columbia, in 2013.

His death was later ruled accidental, a result of mixed drug toxicity.

Two years ago, Mark Salling, who had once dated Naya committed suicide after being charged with underage pornography possession, which he pleaded guilty to.
