Zara is marking its 50th anniversary in spectacular fashion—literally. To celebrate this milestone, the brand has brought together legendary supermodels like Linda Evangelista, Naomi Campbell, and Christy Turlington—alongside a host of fashion icons—for a campaign shot by the acclaimed Steven Meisel.
Linda, Naomi, Christy, and More: Zara Celebrates 50 Years With Supermodel-Packed Campaign
The commemorative project includes a short film titled 50 Years, 50 Icons, featuring 50 of the world’s most recognizable models, including Alek Wek, Paloma Elsesser, and Twiggy. Set to a lively rendition of Donna Summer’s “I Feel Love,” the film is a vibrant celebration of enduring talent, friendship, and creative collaboration. Many of the featured models have worked with Meisel—and each other—over the years, lending the project both nostalgia and authenticity.
In tandem with the campaign, Zara has launched a special 128-piece anniversary collection that revisits and elevates its core design strengths. The lineup includes impeccably tailored suiting, sophisticated basics, and modern wardrobe staples in a monochromatic palette of classic black and crisp white. Expect everything from pleated trousers and cropped leather culottes to halter-neck satin tops, airy knits, and curve-skimming satin gowns—pieces that effortlessly blend timeless style with everyday wearability.
Accessories also take center stage in this collection, featuring sleek leather totes, structured clutches, and refined footwear styles such as square-toe mules and peep-toe pumps. Whether your style leans minimalist or maximalist, the collection offers versatile additions for any wardrobe.
Zara’s limited-edition anniversary T-shirt, printed with a group image of all 50 participating models, serves as both a fashion piece and a future collectible for fans of the brand.
Since its humble beginnings in 1975—when Amancio Ortega opened the first store in A Coruña, Spain—Zara has become a global force in women’s fashion. Over the past five decades, the brand has not only led with trend-savvy yet affordable collections but has also marked major milestones: signing a global framework agreement to protect supply chain workers’ rights in 2007, launching its e-commerce platform in 2010, debuting the elevated SRPLS line in 2018, and introducing a pre-owned resale platform in 2022 to encourage sustainability.
While Zara is no stranger to high-profile collaborations, this 50th-anniversary campaign is arguably its most ambitious—and certainly its most star-studded. The full collection is now available to shop online and in select Zara stores
