Farooq Oreagba is back—and he’s once again owning the spotlight at the Ojude Oba Festival 2025. After his unforgettable, viral moment last year—riding horseback in regal fashion with a cigar in hand—Farooq quickly became a cultural icon, affectionately dubbed “Mr. Steeze.” His magnetic presence and effortless swagger left a lasting impression, making his return one of the most anticipated highlights of this year’s celebration.
Held annually in Ijebu Ode, Ogun State, the Ojude Oba Festival is a cherished cultural event where families and age-grade groups gather in vibrant, coordinated traditional attire to honour the Awujale, the king of Ijebu land.
This year, Farooq made yet another grand entrance, dressed in an opulent brown aso-oke agbada and sokoto—a classic Yoruba ensemble, masterfully crafted by Rhobes Official. He completed the look with striking silver accessories, including a bold Cuban link chain and a majestic gold staff topped with a lion’s head. The entire outfit radiated power, heritage, and undeniable style.
Farooq Oreagba’s presence at Ojude Oba 2025 doesn’t just reinforce his title as The King of Steeze—it exemplifies the fusion of cultural pride, charisma, and contemporary fashion. A true embodiment of elegance and tradition.
