The 7th edition of Africa Fashion and Cultural Week spawned the 1st edition of Africa Fashion and Cultural Week Malabo, on the general coordination of Diana Tambe – Executive President of Africa Fashion and Cultural Week, and the support of the Equatorial Guinean Ministry of Tourism Culture and Promotion of Crafts.

Africa Fashion and Cultural Week Malabo kicked off on a good start; more than forty local models were held without the knowledge of a casting call, then relays for several days and masterclasses took place until the giant fashion show presentation parade, masking the closure of the activities of Africa Malabo Fashion Week 2018.

Twelve (12) young designers from various horizons around the world, highlighted their creative talent and among which:

Lucas ESCALADO (G.E), VEE Fashion House (Kenya), HUGO VICHUG’S (G.E), NANA UPULO (G.E), ZANDAFRIQ COUTUTRE (Ghana), MITO (G.E), MARIE VAL HAGEN (Ghana), DONOVAN (G.E), LILLY CHOU (I.C), METAKAY (Ghana), SHADES (Cam).

Africa Fashion and Cultural Week MalaboThe public of Malabo massively responded positively on October 9th at this closing gala; mostly each female was filled by the quality of the lines of fashion collection, as well as the performance of the folk troupes and local musicians.
