Highlight of LFDW day 2 by Karah Adu

All roads led to Heineken Lagos Fashion and Design Week Day 2 which held at Eko Atlantic on the 26th of Oct 2017.
Fashionistas, designers, models, celebrities and influencers including Exquisite Magazine was at the Nigeria’s most anticipated event of the year.

The makeup team, headed by the one and only Bimpe Onakoya, stuck to the dewy look that reigned supreme in all notable fashion shows, from local to international.

Models strutted the runway looking dewy, flushed and glossed with clean lines and skin. A little liner and bold lipped alternations to suit basic specifications of each designer and it was a wrap!

For hair, it was a simple affair of slinked down ponytails, with a few natural Afros that offered a much needed Afrocentric vibes!

Other highlights of the evening include the collections from Davido X orange culture with a simple yet up to the minute designs and guess what? Davido himself came to close the show!!.

Stunning set from Moofa….Moofa in her designs portrayed a chic and sophisticated modern woman.

DNA By Iconic invanity lunched its collection with Osas strutting the runway. The designer played more with trendy colours, fringes and cuts which really worked for her amazing design(s) if you ask me.

GREY designs created a collection that says “African” with a little modern touch here and there. I’d say the collection was more on the simple side (it’s okay to play safe lol) but hey!!…some of the designs were definitely cosmopolitan.

LFDW wouldn’t be a wrap without the street style, where we get to see people dress for the attention lol…. see pictures and video links below!
