Petit Paris Cafe Review by Grubtalk

I reviewed Petit Paris a little over a year ago and the food there was amazing. Back then, I tagged it little Paris because of its name, décor and they served continental dishes. Fast forward to present day; they have a bigger spot and even bigger menu. They now serve both Continental and African dishes, so congratulations are in order to the management of Petit Paris and well done on their growth.

When you talk about change, this is the type of change you want to see….. Change to something awesome, bigger and better. As I glanced through the new and improved menu, I knew the food is going to be lit as the food on the menu was mouthwatering.
My lunch date and I had; caeser salad and sesame crumbed fish as starters; rice and pasta jambalaya as main courses. The caeser salad was really nice, it had generous portions of chicken and we had it with a thousand island salad dressing and you know, you really can’t go wrong with a thousand island dressing. My lunch date thought the sesame crumbed fish was tasty, I liked the fish but I don’t like sesame seeds, so this was not my favorite meal.
The rice jambalaya was absolutely delicious, it was redic…. I mean I have had jambalayas from different restaurants and I love it best at Petit Paris. It had; prawns and chicken mixed in it, it was like a yummy treasure hunt but an easy one because it was not hard to spot the prawns and chicken in the meal.

The pasta jambalaya was equally divine, like I need to meet the chef and kiss him on the cheek good. Get this, it had; sausages, chicken and prawns mixed in it. Oh boy, this was so good; I wished life came in slow motion so I could be in the moment longer.
I am glad to report back that Petit Paris’ new upgrade is a welcomed change and a fabulous one at that. Yep, their food is still popping as usual.
